About the Derivatives series
Derivatives is an ongoing series of collages composed from an expanding archive of primarily architectural photographs.
Images from this archive–currently spanning six states–are printed as pigment prints, cut by hand and composed
into composite buildings, spaces, machines or objects. Most compositions are place-based, drawing solely from
one region or city, and are reshot afterwards and reprinted in editions of twelve.
